What is the Stantonian Association of Interesting People?

My friends, this blog is dedicated to those men and women who go out of their way to be remarkably interesting. In other words, all of those fascinating Stanton students (or, in the rarest of cases, students from other schools) can join this blog to appreciate creative writing developed by us students. I, Braden Beaudreau, the creator of this blog, will post my past, present, and future works on this website, and those who join and comment will get the same opportunities. May all of you live in happiness and peace, and never forget: being interesting is the only way to stand out from the masses.

A Ripple Among the Rest

There is something peculiar about the way you speak,
as if you fathom all wonders in your words to me.
There is something in your language said in tongue in cheek,
as if trying to cunningly disguise dignity.
“Oh, my heart's temptation is for the dogs,” you remark.
Why, I did not know you had emotions in your name,
let alone, you preferred them for a howl or a bark.
Can you just cease to speak in code of your sick love game?
I don’t deserve to decipher your minds “profound” thoughts,
for they do nothing for me but hate you immensely.
Your communication will become composed of dots;
they will be buried as a ripple among the rest.

  2. Good. The closing line and title were very good in my opinion.
