What is the Stantonian Association of Interesting People?

My friends, this blog is dedicated to those men and women who go out of their way to be remarkably interesting. In other words, all of those fascinating Stanton students (or, in the rarest of cases, students from other schools) can join this blog to appreciate creative writing developed by us students. I, Braden Beaudreau, the creator of this blog, will post my past, present, and future works on this website, and those who join and comment will get the same opportunities. May all of you live in happiness and peace, and never forget: being interesting is the only way to stand out from the masses.

The Pristine Greens

Do you still miss the greens?

Towers of privilege in between alleys

Of individual growth start ups

Do you visit the greens?
Eat at Korean restaurants?
Visit the nearest newest nicest beer garden?
Talk leftist politics in ten dollar mimosa art bars?

Do you see pitched tents at the greens?
And fucking hating them? Hate their owners?
Hate yourself for hating them?
Hate recursive hate?

Do you paint at the greens?
A deep black hole blue?

Do you self-immolate on the greens?
Listen to the whir of the cicadas?
A hellfire chorus
Of sex and death and robots?

Do you take what you learn from the greens?
Buy new gear? Add a new checklist item?
Try a new technique?
One you learned from me?

Do you see the forest from the greens?
Brown swamp water? Redwood trees?
Drowning, tight and stuck?
Ever given evergreen ever glades?

Do you visit the pristine greens?
