Trumpets rise!
This spike of the devil
80 horns jut out
A yellow star is eclipsed
There is a cloud; SO DARK
Lightning juts out, scattering protons
Emitting photons, space-time elong-
I AM SO SMALL
"My god."
"I have a reading. "
"They've locked weapons on us!"
"Red alert."
SCREAM SCREAM SCREAM
The sirens blare
Adrenaline from a thousand species
Coursing coursing coursing
She will kill you
She intends to kill you
You will die
You will throw yourself into the Potomac
Choke on lead and radiation
"Torpedoes locked on 320 degrees mark 2."
"Arm weapons! Evasive pattern delta five. "
"Incoming frags"
DEATH COMES
The specter in orange and red
Exploding blood, decomposing heart
INCOMING INCOMING INCOMING
Flesh and tissue issue forth into emptiness
"Fire all phasers. Damage report."
"Warp drive's been knocked out. I've never seen anything like it."
"Weapons are offline. Main power is 38%."
Space is so quiet
Screams are empty
Bodies dashed on debris
The sun is so warm today
Nothing but computer chatter
"Are our shields up?"
What is the Stantonian Association of Interesting People?
My friends, this blog is dedicated to those men and women who go out of their way to be remarkably interesting. In other words, all of those fascinating Stanton students (or, in the rarest of cases, students from other schools) can join this blog to appreciate creative writing developed by us students. I, Braden Beaudreau, the creator of this blog, will post my past, present, and future works on this website, and those who join and comment will get the same opportunities. May all of you live in happiness and peace, and never forget: being interesting is the only way to stand out from the masses.
