What is the Stantonian Association of Interesting People?

My friends, this blog is dedicated to those men and women who go out of their way to be remarkably interesting. In other words, all of those fascinating Stanton students (or, in the rarest of cases, students from other schools) can join this blog to appreciate creative writing developed by us students. I, Braden Beaudreau, the creator of this blog, will post my past, present, and future works on this website, and those who join and comment will get the same opportunities. May all of you live in happiness and peace, and never forget: being interesting is the only way to stand out from the masses.

Beloved Stranger

It had been a while
But the flame you once
Sparked in my soul was easily
Reignited

How comfortably I fell
Softly, resting on the familiar
Blanketed in sweet memories
Fondly reliving our delicate
Beginnings

Yet so much had changed
Despite our revolving paths
The past had diverged, distance
Widening between circling roads
An unintended separation

Fate has sent us spiraling, crashing
(Though perhaps I should speak for myself)
What of free will?
We are stumbling, not by my choice
Though it may have been yours

My doors had slammed shut, and
I was content to seal myself in
Until your gentle knock beckoned
And I could not ignore it

  1. Actually, this is good. The imagery is consistent and the flows works well.

The door-shutting at the end seemed a little out of place.
