What is the Stantonian Association of Interesting People?

My friends, this blog is dedicated to those men and women who go out of their way to be remarkably interesting. In other words, all of those fascinating Stanton students (or, in the rarest of cases, students from other schools) can join this blog to appreciate creative writing developed by us students. I, Braden Beaudreau, the creator of this blog, will post my past, present, and future works on this website, and those who join and comment will get the same opportunities. May all of you live in happiness and peace, and never forget: being interesting is the only way to stand out from the masses.

Moon Halo

 Moon Halo

The moon doesn’t not have a halo anymore

When did She get it?

When was the last time I saw Her clearly

When Her seas were cut out of her lands

And not specs in a Cross of light

She had it before I gouged out my eyes

She did not have it when I was a child

Since when was She adorned?

Since She was adored

Surely

All lights have that halo

Untouchable crosses breaching the night

But the Moons halo alone penetrates windows

She lights up bodies through slats and blinds

Like she did before I wore a Cross

And I gouged out my eyes
